ALIS system tested in the Czech Republic – a step forward in collaboration with MGVIVA
16th of December 2025From December 1–5, 2025, our ALIS – Advanced Larynx Imaging System was tested at the University Hospital in Plzeň. The equipment was loaned for clinical evaluation by the team led by Dr. Monika Vohlídková.
The testing took place as part of an emerging collaboration with MGVIVA, a company interested in becoming our official distributor in the Czech market.
To make the future users' experience as smooth as possible, we prepared a Czech-language version of the DiagnoScope Specialist software, tailored for local users.
Over the course of several busy days, the system was used in patient examinations as well as in educational and demonstration scenarios. One memorable moment we captured was when a representative of the distributor volunteered to be examined himself – a gesture that perfectly illustrated their full engagement and interest in the technology.
We are pleased with the positive reception of the ALIS system and proud to share that our collaboration with MGVIVA is now entering the next stage – preparations for the first purchase.
DiagNova continues to expand its footprint in Europe, and the Czech Republic may soon join the list of countries where our technology supports cutting-edge voice and glottic diagnostics.

New! Live strobo preview during High-Speed recording!
21th of June 2021
To meet the expectations of specialists, we have added a new feature, unique on a global scale – the image on the screen during the preview in the high-speed slow motion sequence recording mode can present slow motion of the vocal folds, similarly to the stroboscopic examination. At the same time, a kymographic cross-section can be displayed on the screen, which – in order to facilitate the observation of vibrations of the vocal folds – is also synchronized with their movement, showing the glottal cycle always starting from the closing phase. We obtained both effects thanks to the innovative technique of analyzing the kymographic cross-section generated continuously, and determining the fundamental frequency of the voice and the vibration phase of the folds from it. This is an image-controlled strobe method which does not require an additional microphone. Contrary to the classic stroboscopy, it works instantaneously (it does not require the synchronization, typical for classic stroboscopes); it also works for vocal folds movement of lowered regularity or reduced amplitude.
Stroboscopic video preview in combination with real-time kymography allows for instant assessment of the function of the vocal folds with various types of phonation (e.g., low and high pitch) already during the examination, enabling the optimal selection of the moment of slow motion recording sequences in order to obtain comprehensive information about the condition of the voice organ. A video recorded with use of both of the newest functions is presented below.
New! Laryngeal imaging with real-time kymographic preview!
11th of June 2021
We have added the ability to preview kymographic cross-sections while recording High-Speed Video! In the center of the screen, you can see the current view of the camera image, in parallel a kymographic section (from the marked line) is displayed in real time in the upper right corner.
DiagNova Technologies at MEDICA 2019 fair
18th of December 2019Thank you for visiting us at MEDICA 2019 fair in Düsseldorf. This year we have presented our products at the Polish national exposition.
The fair was a very fruitful time for us. The breakthrough event during the fair was the possibility to perform preliminary tests of using our camera with a fiberscope in the high-speed mode and in the violet light mode. Until now, due to the extremely high illumination intensity required, high-speed cameras were only used with rigid endoscopes. Thanks to the courtesy and with the participation of Fiegert Endotech (www.fiegert-endotech.com) company, we conducted tests of their fiberscope, whose special properties allowed recording colour slow-motion sequences at 2400 frames per second with our high-speed camera. The results of the tests performed are very promising, and the obtained images seem to be bright enough to be applied in clinical diagnostics.
DiagNova Technologies at Pacific Voice Conference
26th of October 2019We thank all the visitors of our booth at the international XXVII Pacific Voice Conference (EU-Poland Edition), which took place on October 24-26, 2019 in Cracow.
Our advanced larynx imaging system received great interest from the circle of international specialist in laryngology and phoniatry, as well as from people using their voice professionally every day. During the conference, a few dozen people (mainly the students of the Voice Department of the Academy of Music in Cracow) were examined with the help of our system. The camera was used by many specialists and, despite the fact that most of them were using it for the first time, nobody had problems with operating it; however, the unique proficiency of one of the conference attendees, Dr. Agnieszka Garstecka, who is using such a system for almost a year, could be easily distinguished.
We also thank for listening to the presentations making use of the neoglottis function records taken with the help of our high-speed camera ALI Cam-HS1:
